Disconnect and remove an existing sub distribution (garage) unit to a residential extension or outhouse and install a new domestic sub distribution consumer unit. The consumer unit supplied will be midrange and fully compliant with the current BS7671 Wiring Regulations. The new consumer unit will be fire retardant with surge protection and individual Type A RCBO protection to each circuit. Available Sizes: SMALL - 2 ways. Minimum space required: Height 300mm - Width 200mm - Depth 150mm. = £310 MEDIUM - 6 ways. Minimum space required: Height 410mm - Width 280mm - Depth 150mm. = £480 It is recommended to select a size which will leave at least 1 spare way for future additions. Requirements: Sufficient space to accommodate the new consumer unit. Clear unhindered access to the main consumer unit/fuse box. Clear unhindered workspace around the new consumer unit. Clear unhindered access to all electrical points and outlets being supplied by the new consumer unit. Existing electrical supply must be sufficient and in a safe/compliant condition. Existing bonding conductors to gas/water/oil services must be present and sufficient. Only safe/compliant circuits can be reconnected to the new consumer unit. Electrical supply to the outhouse/extension will be disconnected during work. Electrical supply to the rest of the property may need to be interrupted during work.
